All the billet aluminum components are CNC machined from 6061 and assembled with plated steel hardware.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  The stock CD shifter sits quite far back and doesn't fit most swap cars. This billet shifter bracket has three positions based on your transmission and fitment requirements. The range of shifter centerlines are between 32.7\" and 33.2\" from the front of the bellhousing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e   Due to the lower socket position of the CD transmission for the shifter handle engagement, some drivelines will interfere with the shifter socket. Manufacturers who use 1350 universal joints or 1350 based conversion joints WILL hit our shifter socket. We use 1310 universal joints on our driveshafts and do not hae any problems.
