Keeping it simple, we also managed to make it more affordable and more available, typically in stock.  \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e The all new stand alone shifter bracket kit comes with all the required hardware including the shifter handle, linkage bar and bolting hardware, everything you'll need to just bolt it up and go without any other parts required, just your favorite shift knob. All the billet aluminum components are CNC machined from 6061 and assembled with plated steel hardware.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e  The stock CD shifter sits quite far back and doesn't fit most swap cars. This billet shifter bracket has three positions based on your transmission and fitment requirements. The range of shifter centerlines are between 32.7\" and 33.2\" from the front of the bellhousing. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e   Due to the lower socket position of the CD transmission for the shifter handle engagement, some drivelines will interfere with the shifter socket. Manufacturers who use 1350 universal joints or 1350 based conversion joints WILL hit our shifter socket. While some customers have ground on the universal joints and shifter components to get clearance, this can compromise both parts. We use 1310 universal joints on our driveshafts and do not hae any problems.
