Product Details

If you're doing an engine or transmission swap in your AE86, you'll need a good driveline. We've got several options to chose from.

General fitment

The fitment of our drivelines is based on our swap motor brackets and cross members and in some cases, transmission adapters. The standard fitment is based on the stock sAE86 solid axle. This driveline will be to long for truck axle swaps! We can build a driveline to suit your needs, just contact us for dimensional requirements. Some truck axles also have different drive flanges and require us to use the appropriate part on the driveline.

Supported transmissions

While many transmissions are "similar" in fitment, we build each driveline for it's specific application. If you don't see your application, just give us a shout to see what we can do for you.

Non-Spec Drivelines

All drivelines are made in house, so we can typically accommodate most shafts to suit your needs. If you've done you're own motor mounts, are using a different gearbox such as a G-Force dog box or have done an axle swap, just send us an email or give us a call and we can get the details worked out.

Differential Flange Bolts

While you may get away with your old bolts, we've put together a kit with all new APR chromoly 12 point flange head bolts with flanged nylock nuts. If you don't want to worry about your bolts, add these to the order!

8mm bolts are typical to stock Corolla SR5 and GTS axles.

10mm bolts are typical to Supra and most truck axle swaps.   Due to differences in differential flanges that use 10mm bolts, these are a longer bolt that may not always be required. The extra length is not typically a problem. We do provide washers to use when required. It is not common to need to cut the bolts shorter as most differentials have plenty of clearance behind the flange.

Construction

We make all of our drivelines from new 3" x .083 DOM steel. We've found steel to handle the most abuse and last the longest but we can also make aluminum shafts, just inquire for cost. All shafts are hydraulically pressed together in phase, rotationally welded then straightened before spin balancing. The universal joints are size 1310 and the slip yolk and rear flanges are sized to match, no stepped down conversion universal joints. All components are new, never sourced from old drivelines.

Please allow 5-7 days to complete a driveshaft to ship out.
