MX83 Drivelines

If you're doing a motor or transmission swap, you'll need a driveline. We've got several options to chose from.

General fitment

The fitment of our drivelines is typically based on our swap motor brackets and cross member and in some cases, transmission adapters. If you have any compatibility concerns call us to confirm fitment information. If you've done a diff swap to the MA70 housing, the MX83 fitments still apply.

Supported transmissions

While many transmissions are "similar" in fitment, we build each driveline for it's specific application. If you don't see your application listed, give a shout to see what we can do.

Non-Spec Drivelines

All drivelines are made in house, so we can typically accommodate most shafts to suit your needs. If you've done you're own motor mounts, or are using a different gearbox such as a G-Force dog box, just send us an email or give us a call and we can get the deatils worked out.

Construction

   We've been making our own driveshafts in house for over 10 years. All of our drivelines are made from new 3" x .083 DOM steel, never seam welded. We've found DOM steel to handle the most abuse and last the longest, but we can also make aluminum shafts, just inquire for cost. All shafts are hydraulically pressed together in phase, straightened, rotationally welded then straightened again before spin balancing. The universal joints are size 1310 and the trans yolk and rear flanges are sized to match, no stepped down conversion universal joints. All components are new, never sourced from old drivelines.

Please allow 5-7 days for a shaft to be completed for shipment.
