The Is300/Altezza Rear suspension works quite well, but the factory softer bushings don't quite do the job when you want full control of your car. We've got a solution for the old worn out parts that are just not up to the task.
General Fitment
All of our arm are designed to fit to factory spec and allow adjustment from there. Most of the arms will go both in and out from factory setting except for the RUCA's which will only go in a minimal amount.
RUCA
In designing our rear upper control arms, we focused on reducing the number of components required for fabrication, which reduces welding time and increases strength, yes less welds is typically stronger then more pieces and more welds. The arms consist of only 5 components, keeping component fabrication time down as well as the weld time. By only machining the outer adjuster end, we also reduce CNC time, saving cost over a fully machined arm or arms with multiple machined components. This helps us to offer a strong part at a more reasonable price without going to overseas manufacturing.
The rear upper control arms go from just under factory length to +6 degrees Camber. The added length allows you to flatten the tire when lowering the car by moving the top out to compensate for the short upper arms negative camber gain when dropping the car.
We've also adjusted the outer ball joint angle to neutralize the articulation at a lowered stance as well as manufactured our own Tie Rod style outer ball joint that's sealed, greaseable and has greater articulation than Heim type outers. Coupled with our double adjuster made from 4130 Chromoly steel and our 95A hard poly inner bushings, these arms are durable, allow for easy finite adjustment, and have a clean, narrow profile.
Traction Rods
The Traction Rods come in two version, Pro Street with poly bushings and Pro Comp with heims. The Poly ends are a high density 95A Urethane, offering excellent control while still maintaining some NVH absorption. The Heim arms are just that, a solid heim end for maximum control and zero deflection, typically best for track use.
Toe Rods
The Toe Rods also come in two version, Pro Street with poly bushings and Pro Comp with heims. The Poly ends are a high density 95A Urethane offering excellent control while still maintaining some NVH absorption. The Heim arms are just that, a solid heim end for maximum control and zero deflection typically best for track use.
RLCA
Yup, we're coming out with Rear Lower Control Arms too. As always, a new approach for aftermarket manufacturing that reduces FAB time and adds value while keeping costs down. Stay tuned!
Side effects
Side effects are typically only experienced by people who bought elsewhere. Typical symptoms are jealousy, rage or alienation and guilt. If you experience others having PTSD for the cost of other brands or having to wait months to get their parts, just recommend a good therapist and enjoy your track time knowing you saved time and money buying a quality product at a real price.
